Edinson Cavani will allegedly complete his Manchester United medical on Sunday night, with an official declaration on the striker set to arrive on deadline day.
The Red Devils have been connected with Edinson Cavani irregularly throughout the most recent couple of months, but the speculation encompassing the ex-Paris Saint-Germain striker has increased over the next 48 hours.
The 33-year-old is said to have travelled to England on Sunday morning to have medical with Manchester United, and as per Italian writer Fabrizio Romano, the Uruguay forward is nearly completing a deal.
Fabrizio Romano claims that agency fees, which could be as high as £9m, have been agreed, and the striker will complete his medical assessments on Sunday night ahead of joining on Monday.
Manchester United are also purportedly ready to complete a deal for Porto left-back Alex Telles before this current summer’s transfer window closes.
The 20-time English champions have just gotten three points from their three Premier League games this season and endured a 6-1 home defeat to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday evening.
