Arsenal eyeing move for Eintracht Frankfurt defender

Eintracht Frankfurt defender Evan N’Dicka and Brighton & Hove Albion playmaker Yves Bissouma are reportedly summer transfer targets for Arsenal.

After focusing on cutting his side’s wage bill in the winter transfer window, Mikel Arteta is believed to bring in at least two new players ahead of next campaign.

The Daily Express claims that one of those being eyed up by the Gunners is N’Dicka, who has gone from strength to strength at Frankfurt since joining from French outfits Auxerre back in 2018.

The France Under-21s international – also a believed to be a target for the Gunners’ North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur – has been used 17 times in all competitions this campaign.

Arsenal are believed to have already contacted the youngster’s agents over a possible contract, with Frankfurt thought to be holding out for around £19m.

Bissouma is a separate target for Arteta, it is suggested, though a number of other teams- including reigning Premier League defending champions Liverpool – are also supposedly interested.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are reportedly planning to make a move to sign Marseille left-back Jordan Amavi on a free transfer in the summer.

Gunners head-coach Mikel Arteta is set to target a left-back when the transfer window will be re-opened in the summer in order to increase competition for Kieran Tierney.

And he has been rumoured with a swoop for Amavi, who has rebuilt his career at Marseille after flopping at Aston Villa.
