European giants ready to sell tricky midfielder to Arsenal for€25m

Borussia Dortmund have allegedly informed Arsenal that they would be willing to sell Julian Brandt for €25 million (£21.5m) this summer.

The Gunners were mentioned with the 24-year-old during the last two transfer markets, but the attacker ultimately remained at the Signal Iduna Park outfit.

Brandt has a contract with Die Borussen until June 2024, and he has been a regular for the German giants during the 2020-21 campaign, netting three times and providing one assist in 35 matches.

However, according to Bild, BVB have made it clear that they would be prepared to sell the Germany international for €25 million (£21.5m) in the upcoming market.

The report adds that the Bundesliga club have been disappointed with Julian’s form this term and are keen to move the player on for the right price ahead of next term.

The former Bayer Leverkusen ace largely operates as a playmaker but has also played in central midfield and as a striker at club level this term.

Elsewhere, Matteo Guendouzi will allegedly return to Arsenal in the summer as Hertha Berlin have no interest in landing the Frenchman on a permanent basis due to his attitude.

The 21-year-old joined Die Alte Dame on loan last summer and has featured in 19 Bundesliga matches for the German club, scoring twice and grabbing one assist.
